xbox-game-saleMicrosoft, to its credit, has done a much better job offering Xbox deals and discounts in the past six months, and it looks like another sales event is in the pipeline.

Major Nelson tweeted out on Saturday that an Ultimate Game Sale event would be taking place this week, but offered up no specifics as to when exactly the sale would start, and which games would be included in it. And then something interesting happened: the Australian version of the Xbox website jumped the gun, displaying a host of discounted titles under a giant “Ultimate Game Sale” heading. Someone screen-capped the page (which quickly disappeared) and shared it on reddit.

We say “could” in the title because we don’t really know if these deals are the one’s we’ll see. Australia could wind up having totally different games than the United States. It’s also important to note that only Xbox One games were included at the time of screen capture. There may be Xbox 360 deals, there may not be.

In any case, here’s the list and the supposed discounted prices for each game.

As you can see on the graphic, the sale should go from February 18-24. Keep in mind, however, that the page was meant for Australia. Sydney is a full 19 hours ahead of Microsoft’s home base on the West Coast, so if the sale is happening at the same time across all regions, it could start tomorrow.

And here’s a tip: Microsoft’s “Deals with Gold” sales usually reset on Tuesdays, but the discounts themselves go into effect on Monday evenings. So it might be worth poking around the Xbox Store later to see if the game you want has already been discounted.
