Talking tech since 2003

There is a great write-up over at Ars Technica about the rumored Apple iWatch, it includes feature analysis and some interesting technical insights on what we would be likely to see as well as what we should expect not to see.

The article covers things such as what kind of networking capacities it will have (hint: don’t expect cellular or WiFi — think Bluetooth), the battery life, the display, the user interface, and even if it will run [iOS] apps.  Unfortunately, for the last one, at this point in time, it seems unlikely that iOS apps will work on an iWatch.

Nonetheless, similar to the author of the article, I too, have not worn a watch in several years and why should I when I’m carrying my iPhone around everywhere I go?  But that may change with the advent of these new smart watches such as the Pebble and the now rumored iWatch.
