I received a request from the chat room to do a video on the WordPress Plugins I use to make my blog function the way it does. Below is a list of the plugins I use on a daily basis:

Add to Any: Share/Save/Bookmark Button Helps readers share, save, and bookmark your posts and pages using any service.

Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.”

All in One Adsense and YPN Inserts Adsense or YPN code in to your blog posts. Ad position can be random or pre-defined.

All in One SEO Pack Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress blog.

Feedburner Feed Replacement Forwards all feed traffic to Feedburner while letting through some important User-Agents.

Google Analytics Adds Google analytics to your blog, with various advanced tracking features enabled. 

Google XML Sitemaps This plugin will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and YAHOO.

Kontera ContentLink This plugin will add your Kontera JavaScript code to your blog.

Twitter for WordPress Displays your public Twitter messages for all to read. Based on Pownce for WordPress.

WordPress.com Stats Tracks views, post/page views, referrers, and clicks. Requires a WordPress.com API key.

wp-cache Very fast cache module. It’s composed of several modules, this plugin can configure and manage the whole system. Once enabled, go to “Options” and select “WP-Cache”.
