Thanks to Mandy (my girlfriend) for pointing this out to me. Ever need to find something on a web page? Chances are eventually you will find yourself searching a particular page for a something such as a string of text or a keyword.

Generally, most people will either go to the menu bar – click Edit and then click “Find in this page…” or if you know the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+F) to open the Find bar at the bottom of Firefox. Okay, now try this in Firefox on whatever page you are on, hit the forward slash “/” key – it will open a Quick Find bar on the bottom of Firefox. It is not as feature full as it does not include the up / down buttons, but it is a pretty nifty trick for those of who like those keyboard shortcuts.

Know any other neat keyboard shortcuts for Firefox? Leave a comment!
